Why merging locally matters

This editor

  • Both files stay on your device
  • No account or email required
  • No file size cap
  • Nothing stored on any server, ever

Typical "upload to merge" tools

  • Both documents sit on their server
  • Usually requires an account
  • Often capped on the free tier
  • Retention/deletion is on their terms, not yours

Frequently asked questions

Can I pick exactly which pages to bring in from the second PDF?

Yes. After uploading the second PDF, you'll see every one of its pages as a thumbnail and can select exactly the ones you want.

Can I choose where the merged pages go?

Yes. A dropdown at the top lets you insert them at the beginning or after any specific page of your current document.

Are both PDFs uploaded to a server to merge them?

No. Both files are read and combined entirely in your browser's memory. Neither one is ever sent anywhere.

Can I merge in pages from more than one other PDF?

Yes — select as many files as you want to bring in at once. You'll be walked through each one in turn, picking which of its pages to bring in before moving to the next, and a "File 1 of N" counter at the top keeps track of where you are. Everything you pick across all of them lands together, in the order the files were selected.

Can I merge in a photo or Word document instead of another PDF?

Yes. Choose a photo (JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC) or document (DOCX, PPTX, TXT, HTML, Markdown, CSV) the same way you'd choose a second PDF — it's converted to PDF automatically, then you pick which of its pages to bring in, same as any other source.
