Frequently asked questions
Can I split by custom page ranges, or only one page at a time?
Both. Pick "One file per page" to break every page out on its own, or "Custom ranges" and type something like "1-3, 4-6, 10" to group pages however you like.
Do I get separate downloads for each file?
No — all the resulting PDFs are bundled into a single .zip file, so your browser doesn't throw up a "this site is downloading multiple files" warning. Unzip it to get each PDF separately.
Does splitting use my original file, or the edited version?
The version you're currently looking at — any text, signatures, highlights, or other edits already on the document are baked into the split files too, exactly like a normal download.
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere to split it?
No. Everything happens in your browser using JavaScript. The file never leaves your device.
